Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru Cuvée François Faiveley

Domaine des Hospices de Beaune

Albert Bichot’s view

This new Hospices vintage, sold for the first time at auction in 2025, reveals itself in a “Cistercian” light: clean lines behind a noble structure. The nose combines wild mint and cherry. The palate is crisp (small red fruits), but remains discreet in its sensations.

Food pairings

This Clos de Vougeot François Faiveley will be honored with refined cuisine: pulled duck and mushroom pie, roasted duck breast, vegetarian tagine with wild mushrooms.

A new plot bequeathed in June 2025, on the southern part of Clos de Vougeot.

  • Region: Côte de Nuits
  • Village: Vougeot
  • Level: Grand Cru

Vinification and aging

This Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru cuvée François Faiveley has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 3rd Sunday in November, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important period, thanks to meticulous work and the blending of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.

The Domaine des Hospices de Beaune has been certified organic since the 2024 harvest, and we naturally age your wine in our Albert Bichot cellars in line with this environmentally-friendly philosophy.
