Recognizable from all others, the Hospices de Beaune famous label is part of Burgundy's heritage. It features the family coat of arms of founders Nicolas Rolin and Guigone de Salins, the appellation and name of the cuvée, the vintage and, of course, the name of Maison Albert Bichot in charge of its aging on your behalf.
To remember your purchase at the Hospices and make your wines even more personnal, you can add your own name to the iconic label. Albert Bichot offers this service starting at just 6 bottles of the same cuvée, just one example of the level of service that sets our Maison apart. You can associate your name or that of your company with these exceptional wines. Wedding or anniversary year, prestigious gift to thank a customer...any occasion is good enough!
First set of custom labels is offered to customers who buy a full barrel only. There is a fixed cost to pay for customers who buy online our selection of 5 wines. Custom labels are also possible for buyers of Hospices de Beaune back vintages.
Unique wines...with a personal touch
Magnum, jeroboam, mathusalem...make your Hospices wines in grand style!
If you wish, you can convert all or part of your bids into large bottles: magnums (1.5 l), jeroboams (3 l) or mathusalems (6 l). They are also delivered in wooden cases. This is an interesting solution for ageing wines a little more slowly, thus prolonging their cellaring potential. Needless to say, it's also a choice made by many customers to offer these wines as very special gifts!

Bottles, corks, wooden crates... only the best
Bottling takes place after your wines have aged for 10 to 18 months. We take our time, and each barrel is bottled at the most appropriate time. We use the best quality bottles and corks, and take extreme care in this crucial phase, monitoring numerous analytical parameters, such as dissolved oxygen. Technical rigor and high-precision equipment are the modern complements to traditional, artisanal know-how.
Classic wooden case or optional prestige box
By default, your Hospices en primeur purchase with Albert Bichot is delivered in an attractive wooden case containing 6 x 75 cl bottles. The name of the cuvée is finely engraved, as are the Hospices and Albert Bichot coats of arms.
