Make your Hospices wines unique and tailored to your taste: custom labels, large bottle formats, stunning wooden case
How can you personalize the legendary Hospices de Beaune label with your own name?
Unlike any other, the famous, iconic Hospices de Beaune label is part of Burgundy’s heritage. It features the two family coats of arms of Nicolas Rolin and Guigone de Salins (co-founders of the Hôtel-Dieu in 1443), the appellation and name of the cuvée, the vintage, and, of course, the name of our Maison Albert Bichot, which is responsible for aging the wine in our cellars on your behalf.
To commemorate your purchase from the Hospices and make your wines even more personal, you can have your own name added to the iconic Hospices label. Albert Bichot offers this service starting at just 6 bottles of the same cuvée—just one example of the level of service that sets our Maison apart. You can have your name or your company’s name featured on these exceptional wines. Whether it’s a wedding or anniversary year, or a prestigious gift to thank a client… any occasion is a good one!
The first set of custom labels is offered free of charge to customers who purchase a full barrel. There is a fixed fee for customers who purchase our selection of 5 wines online. Custom labels are also available for our online buyers of back vintages of Hospices de Beaune.

Buying a full barrel (or a fraction) at auction: a unique experience
Magnum, Jeroboam, Mathusalem: choose large-format bottles for your Hospices de Beaune wines
Albert Bichot offers you the option of converting all or part of your Hospices wines purchased at auction into large bottles: magnums (1.5 l), jeroboams (3 l) or Mathusalems (6 l). These large formats are, of course, also delivered in stunning wooden cases.
This is an interesting solution for ensuring that wines age in the bottle at a slightly slower rate, thereby extending the ageing potential of these exceptional wines. This option is also chosen by our customers who wish to present these great Burgundy wines as truly unique gifts.
There is a charge for this option, which must be confirmed with us after the auction. Minimum quantities apply.
Wax-sealed bottles, high-quality corks, engraved wooden cases… only the very best for your fine Hospices wines
Bottling takes place after your wines have been aged for 10 to 18 months in our cellars. We take our time, and each wine is bottled at the most appropriate moment. We use the highest-quality bottles and corks, and we take the utmost care during this crucial stage. Technical rigour and high-precision equipment are the modern complements to our traditional, artisanal expertise. Our bottles are waxed and the wines are always delivered in superb wooden cases, delicately engraved with the name of the cuvée and the two coats of arms of the Hospices estate and our own Albert Bichot name.
Classic wooden case or optional prestige box
By default, your Hospices de Beaune wines aged by Albert Bichot are delivered in a very attractive wooden case. We can offer you a stunning prestige gift box as a paid option. Please do not hesitate to contact us about this option.
