These two plots in the north of the appellation, near Vosne-Romanée, produce a great wine which is typical of this part of Nuits-Saint-Georges, with a heady, complex nose and a spicy, very long palate. A delicate, refined wine, a very fine expression of the appellation and the estate's know-how.

Vinification and aging
This Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Lavières – les Bas de Combe - cuvée Guillaume Labye has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 2d Sunday in March following harvest, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important time, thanks to meticulous work and the custom blend of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.
