Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Maladières - Les Brûlées - cuvée Grangier

Domaine des Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges

Albert Bichot’s view

These six plots of twin crus, located south of les Porrets and la Roncière, are blended here to produce a rather soft, fruity Villages cuvée, although located in thesouthern part of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
It is still discreet on the nose, but promising, and expresses itself easily on the palate, offering immediate and already satisfyingpleasure. Fine tannins, ripe fruit without excess and acidity round off the fine balance of this cuvée. Very attractive!

Food pairings

Vinification and aging

This Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Maladières – Les Brûlées – cuvée Grangier has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 3rd Sunday in November, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important period, thanks to meticulous work and the blending of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.
