Vinification and aging
This Beaune 1er Cru Cuvée Guigone de Salins has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 3rd Sunday in November, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important period, thanks to meticulous work and the blending of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.The Domaine des Hospices de Beaune has been certified organic since the 2024 harvest, and we naturally age your wine in our Albert Bichot cellars in line with this environmentally-friendly philosophy.
History of the cuvée
吉贡-德-萨林斯（Guigone de Salins）是博纳医院创始人尼古拉-罗林（Nicolas Rolin）的妻子，在丈夫去世后，她于 1461 年从奥坦（Autun）搬到博纳，接手管理迪厄酒店。她将大部分财产用于资助病人，直到67岁去世。这款著名的年份酒是博讷葡萄酒中最令人瞩目的。其中近一半的葡萄来自布列桑德（Bressandes）葡萄园，种植于20世纪60年代、1977年和1980年的陡坡上。
