A new cuvée sold in 2022 for the first time to pay tribute to the first donor of the Domaine des Hospices de Nuits. Grapes of Pinot Noir are manually and individually selected from the oldest vines on the plot. The first characteristic of this cuvée is its power. It features rich, powerful, complex aromas, a nose that opens up slowly, depth and great length on the palate, all qualities that underpin the ambition of the Saint-Georges cru. A masterpiece.

Vinification and aging
This Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru Les Saint-Georges « Sélection de Vieilles Vignes » - cuvée Hugues Perdrizet has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 3rd Sunday in November, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important period, thanks to meticulous work and the blending of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.
