I had the pleasure to talk with winemaker Ludivine Griveau on the 8th of October 2019, a few weeks before the auction.
She comes back on her vinification choices for both red and white wines.

For Ludivine Griveau, the natural and concentration of the 2019 vintage, will create wines that are both solar and typically Burgundian.

Acidity levels give the young wines a promising ageing potential in Albert Bichot's cellars and also in the bottle for a longer term. She then gives first indication on the global output and number of barrels that will be auctioned on Novembre 17, unfortunately a low figure.

The 2019 vintage at the Hospices de Beaune estate is already rare and of the highest level.

Jean-David Camus from maison Albert Bichot talks with Ludivine Griveau (Hospices de Beaune winemaker) on the 13th of September 2019. A few days after the harvest start, Ludivine comes back on the specific vintage 2019 conditions, from a hard winter to a beautiful end of vegetative cycle. She also gives first insights into the quality and quantity of the wines that will be auctioned in November.
