Video: winemaker Ludivine Griveau explains why 2019 is a solar yet Burgundian top level vintage

Hospices tasting #2 – after vinifications (October 8, 2019)

Winemaker Ludivine Griveau presents the 2019 promising vintage

I had the pleasure to talk with winemaker Ludivine Griveau on the 8th of October 2019, a few weeks before the auction.
She comes back on her vinification choices for both red and white wines.

For Ludivine Griveau, the natural and concentration of the 2019 vintage, will create wines that are both solar and typically Burgundian.

Acidity levels give the young wines a promising ageing potential in Albert Bichot’s cellars and also in the bottle for a longer term. She then gives first indication on the global output and number of barrels that will be auctioned on Novembre 17, unfortunately a low figure.

The 2019 vintage at the Hospices de Beaune estate is already rare and of the highest level.

Please join us on www.hospices-beaune.com to take part with Albert Bichot to this unique auction, and buy from 1 bottle to 1 barrel with us. Since 2009 professionals and wine lovers from all over the world trust us to detect, bid and age beautifully with care those “great wines for a great cause”.

I register to buy at the Hospices auction, from just 1 bottle
