An exceptional sommelier knife
made from a grand cru barrel
A unique sommelier knife, made from a barrel of Hospices de Beaune Grand Cru
EDITION #1 - MADE FROM A BARREL OF MAZIS-CHAMBERTIN GRAND CRU (red wine)
EDITION #2 - MADE FROM A BARREL OF CORTON-CHARLEMAGNE GRAND CRU (white wine)
An exceptional sommelier knife, handmade in a limited series of 30, available in 2 versions. Custom engraving of the blade optional.
Opening and sharing a bottle of fine wine with friends using the right tool is the very symbol of refinement. Albert Bichot has decided to celebrate Hospices wines and our strong relationship with the institution through an exceptional object.
This sommelier knife is hand-crafted by L'Atelier du Vin from a different barrel in only 30 copies for each edition. The sublime handle of this objet d'art - obviously made in France - is crafted from the staves of a barrel of Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru (edition #1) or Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (edition #2) from Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Both barrels were purchased at auction in 2020 and then aged to perfection in our Albert Bichot cellars.
Each knife is a unique object, as evidenced by the variations in color of the oak handle. The blade and cap cutter are integrated into the knife, and its internal mechanism enables the cork to be extracted in a single gesture. A truly exceptional gift for yourself, a symbol of elegance and Burgundian joie de vivre.
The ultimate refinement: engraving your name or a short message on the blade - optional
