Since 1945, the charitable nature of the Hospices de Beaune wine auction has remained at the forefront. The 166th edition of this global event will be no exception to tradition. An exceptional bottle of wine, the Charity Bottle known as the “Presidents’ Bottle,” will be auctioned off to benefit one or more charities. It is most often a Grand Cru or Premier Cru from the current year’s harvest, sourced from one of the exceptional terroirs of the Hospices de Beaune estate.
