Vinification and aging
This Beaune 1er Cru Cuvée Nicolas Rolin has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 3rd Sunday in November, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important period, thanks to meticulous work and the blending of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.The Domaine des Hospices de Beaune has been certified organic since the 2024 harvest, and we naturally age your wine in our Albert Bichot cellars in line with this environmentally-friendly philosophy.
History of the cuvée
尼古拉-罗林（Nicolas Rolin）是勃艮第公爵菲利普-勒邦（Philippe le Bon）的宰相，他于 1443 年决定创建博讷迪厄酒店。从 1452 年起，来自佛兰德斯兄弟会的修女们开始在宽敞的 Salle des Pôvres 厅接待和照料第一批病人。1963年，莫里斯-帕莱戈瓦（Maurice Pallegoix）夫人为纪念她曾担任德米尼市长的丈夫，捐赠了一笔资金，酒庄的面积因此得以扩大。该年份酒中最古老的地块是 Les Cent Vignes（占种植面积的 54%）和 Les Teurons（占种植面积的 19%），分别种植于 1953 年至 1975 年、1950 年至 1955 年之间。
