Vinification and aging
This Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru Cuvée Roi Soleil has been skilfully vinified by the Domaine des Hospices de Beaune. Sold every year at the Hospices auction on the 3rd Sunday in November, Albert Bichot regularly buys this great wine on behalf of clients who then entrust us with its ageing in our cellars. During this important period, thanks to meticulous work and the blending of a variety of barrels, we further develop its complexity and potential.The Domaine des Hospices de Beaune has been certified organic since the 2024 harvest, and we naturally age your wine in our Albert Bichot cellars in line with this environmentally-friendly philosophy.
History of the cuvée
Corton-Renardes 葡萄园是夏洛特-杜梅（Charlotte Dumay）于 1584 年遗赠给医院的。太阳王之酒（Cuvée du Roi Soleil）向路易十四致敬。1658 年，太阳王在宫廷和母亲的陪同下参观了蝶恋花酒店，领取了一笔抚恤金，并在访客登记簿上签了名。1997 年，古老的黑皮诺葡萄树被连根拔起。这款酒来自 2001 年重新种植的一块葡萄园，葡萄园朝东，位于科尔东山顶，现在人们认为这里更适合种植霞多丽而非黑皮诺。葡萄园的位置非常陡峭，俯瞰平原，非常壮观。这款酒口感极佳，具有很好的陈年潜力。
