History
From 1626, the Lamarosse family linked its destiny to Beaune. Its first known representative was Anatole, a cooper, then numerous descendants were leading Burgundy wine exporters throughout the world, in the 19th century. The last descendant left her house and vineyards to the Hospices de Beaune and to her native village, Pernand. These 30-year-old vines are perfectly situated to catch the rising sun, which starts the ripening process each morning.
