General principle for Albert Bichot or Hospices de Beaune wines sold en primeur (as futures)
Wines from Albert Bichot or the Hospices de Beaune or Nuits-Saint-Georges estates are sold en primeur (as futures) and shipped in September Year+2 following harvest. Example: shipping in September 2023 for wines from the 2021 vintage)
After your order, we will ask you in January Year +2 (January 2023 for the 2021 vintage) if you want to collect the wines in Beaune (for free, during weekdays, with appointment) or if you want the wines to be shipped to you in September 2023. You will also pay VAT at the same time if you live in Europe.
From when the wines are available, the customer has 4 months to collect the wines or ask them to be delivered at his/her cost. Beyond this, Albert Bichot reserves the right to ask the customer to pay storage fees.
