The cuvée comes from two plots in the climat « les Reuchaux », on the Meursault side of the village, the vines being planted in 1968 and 1969. Together they comprise 18.96 ares. This is the first donation of vines in Puligny-Montrachet for the Hospices de Beaune estate.
Story of the wine Puligny-Montrachet cuvée Bernard Clerd
This cuvée comes from a donation in 2017 by Mr. Bernard Clerc, retired vigneron from Puligny-Montrachet where he owned a significant wine estate. The traditional generosity of the Burgundians is thus clearly as alive as ever in the 21st century. The domain can be traced back to the 17th century through the maternal line (Marie-Louise Patriarche).
