Tasting
Clear bright colour. The bouquet has a beautiful intensity of ripe and fresh citrus, with a minty touch and floral complexity. Mouth displays an impressive energy. A remarkable wine year after year.
Food matching
Seared shrimps with a dash of lemon and Asian spices, simply cooked fish, squashed pumpkin soufflé.
History
Mr. and Mrs. Grivault made their gift to the Hospices in 1904, the vines being magnifcently situated in Les Charmes dessus. 38% of the plantings date from 1958, 30% from 1985, and 32% from 1997.
