Story of the cuvée
Paul Chanson was a great ambassador for the wines of France, and for Burgundy in particular. This Cuvée comes from old vines, which he bequeathed to the Hospices in 1974. Paul Chanson always used to say they were Pinots Blancs, rather than Chardonnay.
Terroirs & description
They are planted on a prominent hillock adjoining Corton-Bressandes, on land most often carrying Pinots Noirs, and give fascinating wine, often with an aroma of quince.
