If you wish to purchase a minimum of 6 bottles of a selected cuvée at the Hospices de Beaune 2011 auction, follow the steps below or watch this explanatory video
Email us the completed registration form and Jean-David Camus will give you access to our online store.
Once in our online store, select the number of bottles you wish to purchase of each cuvée. Generate the order form directly and forward it before the sale along with your deposit to secure your order.
The order form gives Albert Bichot official authorisation to bid on your behalf at the Hospices 2011 Sale. For each cuvée, it fixes a bid ceiling (i.e. a unit price per bottle) that cannot be exceeded. There will be no nasty surprises!
On 20th November 2011, follow the auction live on our website, www.hospices-beaune.com, or spend this festive weekend in Beaune and enjoy all the events and activities that will be taking place.
The day after the sale, we will confirm your purchase (if, of course, the bid ceiling fixed was not exceeded). The actual cost of your order is then known. NB. If the auction goes over the fixed ceiling, your deposit will be returned to you.
In December 2011, the pièces of wine purchased will be transported from the Hospices winery to Albert Bichot’s cellars in Beaune, where the long maturing period will commence. It will take 12 to 16 months for us to bring the wines to their very best.
Every three months, you will receive an eNewsletter updating you on how we are tending to YOUR wines in our cellars. Through this you will learn all the secrets of the Hospices de Beaune and how Albert Bichot matures fine Burgundy wines. The website will of course remain live and updated throughout the year.
In Spring 2013, the wines are carefully bottled and their historical label affixed. As an optional extra, you can even personalise the labels with your name as purchaser. A few weeks later, we will deliver the wines to your home in their wooden case, along with a personalised cellar book.
You can also enjoy exclusive offers (en primeur purchase, old vintages, private tastings…) available to Hospices de Beaune customers only.
